Maps are an integral connection to the stars. They were originally created by way of the alignment of the land to the stars. Maps of early New Zealand hold a particular fascination and grounding to me for this project. They also map a history of the colonisation and development of this country. Included below are maps of interest in their relationship to the proposed sites for the installation of the projects sculptural elements.Â
